At the heart of the Mind Project is a Community of diverse individuals committed to working together to learn about the human mind and to share what they have learned with others. One of our primary objectives is to develop curriculum materials and research projects at the undergraduate level. However, the Community extends far beyond the borders of undergraduate institutions. There are much younger students (K-12) involved in the project and there are others who have already completed their undergraduate degree (graduate students, continuing education students, retirees, etc.). Finally, there are world-class experts in cognitive science who not only provide quality control for the content of this website, but who are also committed to being a part of this community and supporting those who are coming to the field for the first time. In addition to students and teachers, many others, from private corporations, to publishing houses, to the US Government have supported this project. Come join us in this exciting inquiry into the nature of minds, brains, persons, robots and much, much, more. |

THE MIND PROJECT LEADERSHIP
Many people make The Mind Project possible: faculty, students, researchers, people in industry and publishers. They serve as curriculum developers, programmers, research project leaders, and on editorial or advisory boards.
|
COLLEGES & UNIVERSITIES
The most numerous participants in the project are students and faculty from colleges and universities. Some schools have numerous participants, some have a single instructor or a single student. We welcome all comers.

K-12
Initially, we assumed that cognitive science was far too difficult for primary and secondary students. Boy were we wrong! We are actively looking for teachers and students to collaborate with us to adapt our curriculum and research projects to this age-group.
|
CCSI
The Mind Project and many of its participating individuals and institutions are members of the Consortium on Cognitive Science Instruction a group dedicated to the sharing of instructional and research materials and the nurturing of education in the cognitive & learning sciences.

CORPORATE SPONSORS
Thanks to these corporations and publishing houses who have given us support. We welcome participants from industry who can provide the resources to bring our educational tools into the hands of more students.
|
GRANTING AGENCIES
The strides that this project has made would not have been possible without funding from participating colleges and universities and other agencies, like the National Science Foundation. We would like to thank those who have contributed.
