Consortium on Cognitive Science Instruction (CCSI)

The Consortium on Cognitive Science Instruction was formed to coordinate the efforts of individuals and institutions (public and private) committed to the dissemination of information about the cognitive and learning sciences. The primary objective of the Consortium is:

To create a well-organized community of teachers, researchers, and students which fosters the growth of cognitive science education, the sharing of resources, collaboration on student-centered research projects, and an increased level of communication and cooperation between all types of institutions committed to these goals.

The 2008 Annual Meeting of the CCSI will be held in conjunction with the Cognitive Science Society Meetings, on Wednesday, July 23rd, 2008. More information can be found here: 2008 ANNUAL MEETING

The Consortium is committed to the creation and maintenance of a permanent archive to store and organize digital resources of all kinds to support research and instruction in the cognitive and learning sciences.

Participation in the Consortium will be actively sought from college instructors, institutions of higher learning, research institutes, publishers, and medical organizations. Membership will also be from primary and secondary teachers and institutions.
